Port of Nasingin or "Tulay"

Here is a video of Nasingin from MissionsMinsPhill. I really don't know the main reason why they visited the Island, Just watch the video.

At 0:11 to 0:16 seconds of the Video. You can see the "port" of Nasingin. They call it "Tulay". That is the place most "Sakayans" are parked. That is the Loading and Unloading place for Transportation of the Island. That is where Fishing Boats are parked too, you can just buy fishes or seafoods directly at the Fisherman if you spot him parking his Fishing Boat.

PS: The Guy in the Video is not me and neither the video. Copyright from MissionsMinsPhill.

Satellite Image of Nasingin Island and My Personal Experience inside the Island of Mangroves.

Here is the recent Satellite Image of the Nasingin Island. Nasingin Island is located at the Bottom Part of the picture. It isn't a complete picture yet, needs more update.

As you can see there are tons of Mangrove trees surrounding the Island. I have experienced exploring inside those Mangrove Island with my cousins and friends. You can explore inside without using any boats because the water isn't too deep, just walk it out. It is very Fun because there are so many fishes and other marine creatures living on the root of the mangroves trees, you can just catch them bare hands and put it in your container then cook it after. yummy!.. But yet it's Creepy inside because there are many ghost stories and folklore being told on that Island Of Mangroves, but Nahhh they're just stories. If they're real I've already seen one but i haven't.

Information about Nasingin Island and the Fiesta

Nasingin is an island located at Latitude 10.1797 Longitude 124.124...

It is an island surrounded by lots of mangroves which people use to build their houses or which they called "Payag"..People in this island speaks Visayan Language. Children there learn at Nasingin Elementary School 'till Grade 1 - 6..When they reach the High School Level they need to travel using a small boat or which they called "Sakayan" from Nasingin to Getafe in order to learn High School Level Teachings to reach their goal. As what I think that is alot of effort, Waking up 5:00 in the morning to catch the early "Sakayan", It cost Money too because "Sakayan" transportation isn't free...They need to pay 20 or 40 pesos per ride(I had this Idea because when i went there from Cebu > Nasingin 40 pesos is the fare).

Nasingin's Main Fiesta is for Santa Cruz which is celebrated on May 28th. My Family and close relatives attends the fiesta because my father, his brothers, sisters and cousins are from that place. Even if the electric supply of the place is powered through a generator which is run by gasoline, the fiesta is still as fun as there ain't no problems to come. I'm saying it because i have gone there 18 years of my life and enjoyed it very well. There is a Fluvial Parade(Using The "Sakayan") in the Morning during the day of the Fiesta. There is a Main Sakayan(Bigger than the other) used for the parade and other small "Sakayans" are following it. People inside it are Dancing,Singing,Making Use Of Recycled Drums and More. Imagine how very enjoying it is to watch it. And at Night, there are Stage Plays, Singing and Dancing Competition, Comedy Acts and also what everybody is craving for is Disco, Hahah.

It's Such fun being part of the fiesta for nearly two decades. I've never regretted going to the place.
